Hire through hackathonsFair, structured evaluation
Judges only see the projects assigned to them, score against a published rubric with weighted criteria, and can declare conflicts of interest. Scores lock on finalization; any later correction requires an authorized organizer and is recorded with a reason. Mentors get a focused view of their teams and can leave feedback that teams see in their workspace.

IllustrationWhat is OmniHack?
OmniHack is a platform for running ideathons, hackathons and hybrid idea-to-prototype competitions. Organizers configure stages, eligibility, judging rubrics and awards; participants register, form teams and submit; judges score on structured scorecards; results and verifiable certificates are published from the same place.
Is it free for participants?
Creating an account and registering for free competitions costs nothing. Some organizers may charge a registration fee; paid registration is only possible once the platform's payment module is configured, and the fee is always shown before you register.
What is the difference between an ideathon and a hackathon?
An ideathon evaluates ideas — problem understanding, innovation, feasibility and impact — and does not require a working prototype or code unless the organizer asks for it. A hackathon evaluates built projects, typically with a source repository, demo and documentation. A hybrid competition advances the best ideas into a prototype-building phase.
Can I take part on my own?
It depends on the competition. Each event states whether it accepts individuals, teams, or both, and the allowed team size.
Who can see my submission?
Submissions are private by default. They are visible to your team, the competition's authorized organizers, and the judges or mentors assigned to your project. Nothing is published to the project showcase unless your team leader requests it and the organizer approves.
